Leave the A3 in Braga, enter the city, and follow the direction of Chaves. After some 12 Km turn right towards Póvoa de Lanhoso. From there, follow directions to Cabeceiras (de Basto). Keep the same route for some 7 Km until you find, on your left, an indication to Travassos. Turn to the village and keep to the asphalt road until you find Museu do Ouro / Casa de Alfena on your left.
